The Victorian Christmas Open House at The National Civil War Naval Museum at Port Columbus is set for two weekends, Dec. 1-2 and Dec. 8-9. The free event features a Christmas Past program which will explores the holiday's Victorian era roots. Expect music and carols, refreshments, guided museum tours and shopping. Festivities will include a Civil War era Santa and performances from groups at the Liberty Theatre and the Springer Opera House, as well as the Columbus Brass of the Schwob School of Music.
When: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays and 12:30-4:30 p.m. Sundays.
Where: The National Civil War Naval Museum at Port Columbus, 1002 Victory Drive.
Admission: Free on Dec. 1-2 and 8-9. Regular fees are $7.50 for adults, $6.50 for active military and seniors and $6 for students.
