Man robbed at gunpoint of $1,200 early this morning outside Victory Drive trailer

A 25-year-old Hispanic construction worker was robbed at gunpoint of $1,200 by five black males early this morning outside of his Victory Drive mobile home, according to Columbus Police.

The robbery happened shortly after 1 a.m. when the victim went outside of his Victory Drive trailer to smoke a cigarette and two vehicles pulled up in front, reports stated.

Five men, one carrying a pistol, got out and surrounded the man. With the gun pointed to his head, the suspects searched the man's pockets, where they found the cash. The men then left. The victim was unable to give detailed descriptions of the suspects.

The case remains under investigation and no arrests have been made.
