A 59-year-old Columbus woman was robbed at gunpoint in her Liberty Gardens apartment Monday.
Officer David Rogers was dispatched to the Sixth Avenue apartment at 9:48 a.m. in reference to a burglary, according to the police report.
He spoke with the victim, who said two unidentified males entered her residence and held her at gunpoint. The only item missing was her brown/black purse, which contained about $30 in cash.
The suspects were described as black men, ages 20-25, with short haircuts and slender builds. The one with dark skin wore a black jacket; the one with light skin wore a gray hooded jacket.
The case remains under investigation.
