Two men hit and shot a Farr Road mobile home park resident and took his Playstation 3 after playing games with the victim Sunday night, according to Columbus police.

The 36-year-old whose trailer's on a lot at 527 Farr Road was treated for a gunshot wound to his arm and a deep cut on his head after the assault and robbery about 9:30 p.m., officers said.

The victim told investigators the two visitors he knew from their having once lived in the trailer park were playing video games with him when one walked outside to a Ford Expedition and returned with a handgun. The armed man hit the resident over the head and the gun went off, the bullet passing through the victim's left bicep, officers said.

The two grabbed the Playstation 3 and a controller and fled. The wounded resident got help from a neighbor, who called police and bandaged the wound.

Both robbers were described as black, one 25 to 27 years old, 5 foot 7, 135 pounds, with "low hair" and a light complexion and wearing gray sweat pants; the other 21 to 22 years old, 5 foot 11, 240 to 260 pounds, also with "low hair" and wearing black velvet sweat clothes, police said.

Officers said the assault left "a large pool of blood" on the floor in front of the mobile home's refrigerator and drops of blood elsewhere.
