Here's a tip for holiday revelers patronizing downtown bars: Don't smack a waitress on the rear end and expect it to be taken lightly.

Columbus police report that a soldier got kicked out of the Mix Ultra Lounge at 1040 Broadway about 1:45 a.m. Saturday "for slapping a waitress on her behind." Then he refused to cooperate with police officers outside, and was arrested for being disorderly while intoxicated, police said.

Officers identified the suspect as Sean Patrick Reynolds, 32, who lives on College Drive in Phenix City. He was fined $212, according to jail records.
