Columbus woman accused of stabbing live-in boyfriend

A Columbus woman was charged with aggravated assault Monday in the stabbing of her 28-year-old boyfriend.

Victoria Hightower, 31, was arrested after the 3:34 a.m. assault at 3390 N. Lumpkin Road. She was later released on bond from the Muscogee County Jail.

The victim was treated by emergency medical personnel for two small puncture wounds to his left shoulder.

Police said the couple were inside the apartment when an argument ensued.
