A 41-year-old Columbus woman is accused of firing a gun through the wall of her Willis Road, endangering a neighbor during a domestic dispute, police said.

Sheila Hunter was arrested after the 7:45 a.m. Tuesday shooting at 3715 Willis Road. She was charged with reckless conduct in a bullet fired into a nearby apartment and aggravated assault of a 31-year-old man who shares an apartment with her, police said.

Police had been called to the apartment to check on a domestic dispute when they learned a shot had been fired. None of the occupants in Hunter's or the neighbor's apartment was injured. The woman is accused of firing the gun at the man in their apartment but missed. The bullet went through the wall of the nearby apartment.

The shooting remains under investigation.
