Dec. 7: Broadway Holiday Festival

Santa and the Coca-Cola Polar bear stop by the Broadway Holiday Festival 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday to light the holiday tree in Uptown Columbus. Expect horse and carriage rides, singing, hot chocolate, candy canes, shopping and plenty of photo worthy moments with "snow" in the forecast.

Guests are invited to wear holiday attire and bring a canned or boxed food item to help kickoff the annual holiday food drive. Food donations may also be dropped off at any Uptown business until Dec. 10.

Kids who bring a toy donation or $2 donation may slide on the giant slide from Santa's Castle of Fort Benning, a non-profit organization that provides toys for children of Fort Benning Soldiers.

When: 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7

Where: 1100 block of Broadway in Columbus
