TSYS to process cards for St. Mary’s Bank and Oregon Community credit unions

Published: December 12, 2012

Credit-card processor TSYS said today it has inked a contract with St. Mary’s Bank in New Hampshire, considered the oldest credit union in the nation.

The multi-year deal, which calls for Columbus-based TSYS to handle St. Mary’s consumer credit card processing and other services, follows the signing of Oregon Community Credit Union earlier this year, TSYS said.

No terms of the contracts were released.

St. Mary’s Bank was founded in 1908 in Manchester, N.H., with branches in several of that New England state’s cities. On its website, the financial institution notes how it survived the Great Depression.

Oregon Community Credit Union, founded in 1956 in Eugene, Ore., has 10 branches and more than 104,000 members, TSYS said.
