Dec. 19-21: Santa visits Chattahoochee Valley libraries

Before he heads back to the North Pole, St. Nick stops by Chattahoochee libraries to read "The Polar Express." Children will have a chance to visit with Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas. Parents are welcome to bring their cameras to take pictures.

Here's Santa's schedule for the week:

Mildred L. Terry Public Library: Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 10:30 a.m.

Marion County Public Library: Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 4 p.m.

Parks Memorial Public Library: Thursday, Dec. 20 at 5 p.m.

Cusseta-Chattahoochee Public Library: Friday, Dec. 21 at 10 a.m.

Here are a few more stops Santa will make in the Columbus area:

Columbus Park Crossing shopping center: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22. Santa will be in the courtyard area. Visits are free. Parents are encouraged to bring cameras to take photos.

The Landings shopping area: 6-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22. Free horse and carriage rides will also be available 6-9 p.m. both days.

Peachtree Mall: Santa is available daily through Dec. 24 at the mall. Click here for more information. Mall hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. through Sat. Dec. 22, 11 a.m.-9p.m. on Sun. Dec. 23 and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24. Hours for individual stores vary.
