Columbus Technical College president Bob Jones plans to retire June 30.

The announcement came today at a joint luncheon meeting of the Columbus Technical College Local Board and the Foundation Board of Trustees. Faculty and staff also have been informed, the college's news release said.

After 14 years at the helm of Columbus Tech, Jones said in an emailed letter to his staff and faculty, “Today, I am proud to say that the college is strong academically, fiscally, and physically.”
