Columbus police arrest man on stolen vehicle charge

Columbus police arrested a 19-year-old on a charge of stealing a motor vehicle early Wednesday morning.

Officer E. Page Harper was dispatched at 1:05 a.m. to an apartment in the 3200 block of First Avenue in reference to a stolen auto. Marco A. Dunlap of 42nd Street was arrested also on charges of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to the police report.

The stolen vehicle is a 2007 blue Saturn Ion valued at $3,700.

No other details about the case were disclosed in the report.
