tchitwood@ledger-enquirer.comDecember 27, 2012

Sometime over the Christmas holidays thieves took enough furniture from a mobile home dealership in Opelika, Ala., to furnish their own hideout.

Opelika police report that between 5 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Wednesday intruders forced their way into four model homes at Freedom Homes and took 12 separate items.

Missing from the 1900 Columbus Parkway business were a gray sofa, a gray loveseat, a second sofa, a Henning cocktail table, two Henning end tables, a five-piece dinette set and a Pisa Spice rug.
