Damarian Damez Tucker, 29, of Pine Mountain died Wednesday morning in a single-car accident on Georgia 219 (Whitesville Road) south of LaGrange, Troup County coroner Jeffrey Cook said Friday.

Tucker suffered head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:31 a.m. after the Honda Accord he was driving rolled over on its top and partially ejected him, Cook said.

It was raining when the accident happened north of Burkes Chapel Road, but the cause of the wreck and whether Tucker was wearing his seat belt is unclear, Cook said. The only passenger in the vehicle was treated and released from a hospital, he said.
