ORLANDO - Aaron Murray's media boycott is long over, but he didn't want to linger too long at a Capital One Bowl press conference on Saturday afternoon.

"Aaron told me he was in a hurry to get this done so he could go see Mickey Mouse," Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo cracked.

But Murray did hang around a bit, and had a couple interesting insights worth passing along:

- Murray came in to college with the reputation of a dual-threat quarterback, but now he’s basically a pocket passer.

“Oh yeah. I think in the offseason my goal is to work on my speed a little bit, get back to running it a little bit more," he said. "I lost maybe a step or two in my old age, so I gotta work a bit on that in the offseason a little bit."

Wait, offseason - and not the NFL draft combine? No, Murray said later, he hasn't made any decisions.

“After the bowl game we’ll figure it out," Murray said. "I got until January 15, I got plenty of time.”

- How much autonomy does Bobo have over the offense now, six years after getting the play-calling duties? Murray explains:

“He’s been adding a lot more to the offense when it comes to run plays, pass plays. We talk to coach Richt, and it’s funny, coach Richt doesn’t even know half the plays we call nowadays, because the offense has evolved so much since he brought the offense here to Georgia.”
