Man, 50, shot in right ankle at Rogers Tap Room parking lot

A 50-year-old Columbus man was shot in the right ankle early Tuesday in the parking lot of Rogers Tap Room, police said.

The man was in fair condition at The Medical Center after the shooting which occurred sometime after midnight and before 3 a.m. at 4950 Steam Mill Road.

Police were already at the hospital investigating an unrelated shooting when they learned the man had been admitted for the gunshot wound. The shooting remains under investigation.
