A woman thought it was strange when she saw a man crawl from the drive-in window of McDonald’s in Opelika, Ala., Tuesday and leave in pickup truck.

A call to police led to the arrest of Brock Lorenz Pugh, 37, of Opelika, said police Capt. Bruce DeLong of the Opelika Police Department.

He was arrested after police stopped the pickup truck he was driving at the Waffle House and charged him with burglary third degree. Pugh is being held in the Lee County Detention Center.

Police said a break-in was reported at the 1104 Columbus Parkway eatery sometime between 3:35 a.m. and 3:45 a.m. The woman saw the pickup truck parked near the drive-in window as a man crawled from the business.
