Columbus Regional will host an MLK Day Commemoration Service 11-11:45 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at The Columbus Regional Conference Center at The Medical Center, 710 Center Street.

The featured speaker for this Martin Luther King Jr. Day event will be Michael Thurmond, former Georgia Labor Commissioner, who is currently with civil trial practice firm Butler, Wooten, & Fryhofer. Attendees can also expect to hear music from Emmanuel Voices of Praise and an oration of King's famous “I Have A Dream” speech.
