Glenwood girls, boys basketball teams down Ashford Academy

Tamara York netted 22 points and Emily Robertson tallied a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead Glenwood past Ashford Academy 69-40 on Thursday afternoon at home.

Tamera McClain contributed 10 points and seven assists to the win.

The Lady Gators (12-1) return to their home court today when they host Hooper Academy at 3:30 p.m.Thursday at Glenwood

Boys

J.T. Thomas and Trotter Barringer each racked up a double-double and Anthony Holtzclaw led Glenwood's scorers with 27 points to push the Gators past Ashford Academy 94-66 at home on Thursday.

Thomas had 12 points and 11 assists, and Barringer netted 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Ashford's Alex Morris led all scorers with 38 points.

The Gators (12-1) return to the court today at 5 p.m. to take on Hooper Academy at home.Thursday at Glenwood
