A man and woman face drug possession charges after a drug sniffing dog led police to the seizure of more than 4 pounds of marijuana Thursday.

Reyna Bustamante, 21, and Kevin Bustamante, 18, face charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and reckless conduct after their 2003 Honda Odyssey was stopped at Franciscan Woods Drive and Williams Road. They will face the charges in Recorder's Court at 2 p.m. today.

Reyna of Jonesboro, Ga., was the driver of the vehicle and Kevin of Stockbridge, Ga., was a passenger when it was stopped for a suspended registration about 4:45 p.m. A drug sniffing dog alerted officers to illegal narcotics in the vehicle.

During a search, officers found a box with four plastic bags of marijuana with a street value of more than $18,000.

Police said a 2-year-old and an infant were in the vehicle when it was stopped.
