High-tech thieves are looking for new gadgets.

A 24-year-old Columbus woman was the victim of an iPad theft Thursday when her electronic tablet was snatched from her grasp in the parking lot of Subway.

The woman told police the $500 black iPad was taken about 8:10 p.m. at 2640 Manchester Expressway. She was not injured.

No description of the thief was available as the investigation continues.
