A weekly look at the top prospects in Middle Georgia.

1. Montravius Adams, DT, Dooly County

An injury suffered in the GHSA Class A public school title game forced Adams to sit out the Under Armour All-American Game. It won’t slow down his recruitment. One of the nation’s top prospects visited Florida (Jan. 5) and will visit Clemson (Saturday), Alabama (Jan. 18) and Georgia (Jan. 25).

2. Demarcus Robinson, WR, Peach County

Robinson has garnered praise from his work at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio. Robinson now says he’ll enroll at either Clemson or Florida on Monday.

3. Johnny O’Neal, LB, West Laurens

O’Neal joined Robinson in San Antonio, but the Raiders’ linebacker already knows where he is going. He committed to Georgia back in March.

4. Johnathan Howard, WR, Wilcox County

Howard caught a state-record 115 passes for 1,630 yards as a senior. He is committed to North Carolina.

5. Nigel Bowden, LB, Central

Outside of a few-day-long commitment to Georgia Tech, Bowden has remained committed to Vanderbilt since June.

6. Shannon Smith, WR, Westside

Smith committed to Troy on July 30, but other schools have continued to pursue him, including Vanderbilt.

7. Keshun Hill, WR, Northside

The Telegraph’s All-Middle Georgia Player of the Year is leaning toward Georgia Southern, but schools like Clemson, Missouri and Central Florida are still showing some interest.

8. Michael Selby, OL/DL, Washington County

The Golden Hawks’ versatile lineman would have a ton of offers if he was a few inches taller. Still, he has committed to Marshall.

9. Jalen Lawrence, DL, Westside

Lawrence had offers from Colorado State, Louisiana-Lafayette, Middle Tennessee State, Texas Tech and Troy before committing to Georgia State in October.

10. Noah Grayer, QB, Westside

Grayer is hearing from a number of schools, including some from BCS-conference programs.
