A 1-year-old infant boy was taken to The Medical Center Monday after the child was burned at Micah's Child Development Center, Columbus police said.

The child was in good condition after sustaining burns to the left arms and back about 10:40 a.m. at 4685 Buena Vista Road. The child was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Police were called to the daycare center to check on a report of an injured person. The police report didn't specify what caused the injuries to the child.

The case remains under investigation.
