The 10th annual Mind, Body and Spirit Retreat for Women, presented by Columbus Regional Healthcare System and the Cunningham Center at CSU, is 8:30 a.m.3:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 at the Cunningham Center. This years theme is Stay Green Keep Growing. The $40 registration fee includes a continental breakfast, several individual workshops, lunch and a tote bag. Individual workshops will include Nourish with Healthy Recipes, Green: The Color of Investment Opportunity, Chakras: Your Mind-Body-Energy System, Take Flight by Starting a Small Business. Examine Our Communitys Roots and History of Columbus, and Create More Economical and Safe Household Cleaning Products.
David Benefield from Anns Porch will give a group presentation over the lunch hour on flower arranging. The featured speaker is Barbara McBride-Smith, nationally-acclaimed storyteller. She will conduct both the morning and afternoon group sessions and lead an individual workshop as well on storytelling.
