Shot fired at man in Land Rover

A 20-year-old man driving a Land Rover on 10th Street at Illges Road escaped serious injury today after a gunman fired at his vehicle, Columbus police said.

The victim was taken to The Medical Center where he was treated for minor cuts to his head just after midnight, police said.

In a report, police said the shooting caused about $600 in damage to the land Rover.

No description of a suspect was available. The assault remains under investigation, police said.
