Mayor Teresa Tomlinson will continue her quarterly public forums in 2013 with meetings at two local churches, a private school and the Springer Opera House, the city announced today.

The forums, known as “Let’s talk … with the mayor,” draw citizens from different areas of the city to discuss needs and problems of that area with city leaders. Tomlinson, City Manager Isaiah Hugley and other executives with the Consolidated Government are on hand to field questions. All eight of the forums so far have drawn more than 100 people.

This year’s first forum will be March 14 at Brookstone School. It will be followed with forums at Liberty Hill Baptist Church on June 13, the Springer Opera House on Sept. 12 and the Solid Rock Assembly of God on Dec. 12. The forums run from 6-7:30 p.m.

The forums are open to the public and are videotaped for replay on CCG-TV.
