Shots fired at Cougar Village Saturday; no injuries reported

Six shots were fired at Cougar Village Apartments Saturday morning during a dispute between 10 to 12 people, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

Police arrived at the apartment complex on the 4700 block of Milgen Road at about 1 a.m. after they received a report that several shots had been fired. A witness told police there was a dispute between 10 or 12 people in the parking lot when a black man wearing a black hoodie pulled out a hand gun and starting shooting in the air at chest level. Another man grabbed the person shooting the gun and took him inside an apartment. The witness said he heard six shots during the incident.

No suspects were named. No arrest was made.
