An attempted rape was reported near Benning Hills Park Sunday night, according to a Columbus Police Department report.
Police received a report at about 10:45 p.m. that an unknown person had attempted to rape a 20-year-old woman. She was pushed down during the attempt and received scratches on her right arm, according to the report.
No arrest was made. The case remains under investigation.
