A local man is facing child molestation charges after he was accused of exposing himself to an 8-year-old girl, authorities said during a 9 a.m. hearing Tuesday in Recorder's Court.
Kenneth Flinn, 30, was charged with child molestation after a woman on 4th Street reported that he exposed himself to her granddaughter in late October.
Detectives told the court that the child was playing outside with other neighborhood children when a man enticed her into a house in the same area. Once inside, he exposed himself to her, police said, and asked her to expose herself. The child refused and later gave a description that allowed detectives to identify Flinn.
Flinn also is facing charges for violation of parole and burglary. A hearing for his burglary charge will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m.
