A man was arrested for possession of marijuana Tuesday morning after police found drugs in some Hardee's bags in the suspect's car, according to a Columbus Police Department report.
Officers stopped Octavius McCurdy, 23, at about 10:30 a.m. on Armour Avenue near Carriage Drive. During a search of the vehicle, they found less than 10 grams of marijuana hidden in two Hardee's bags on the floorboard of the car. There was also a smoking device in one of the bags.
McCurdy was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug related objects. He was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
