A man found dead in the bathroom of the South Lumpkin Road Piggly Wiggly Thursday has been identified as 36-year-old Brian Taylor of Columbus, the Muscogee County Coroner’s Office said today.

Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Charles Newton said there was no indication of foul play in Taylor’s death, but authorities are still awaiting results of a toxicology report from the crime lab in Atlanta. Results could take up to six months, he said.

Officers responded at about 1 p.m. in reference to a sick person. The manager told police a Coca-Cola representative had informed employees a man was lying on the floor of the men’s restroom unresponsive. The man was later pronounced dead.

No further information was available. The case remains under investigation.
