LaGrange robber grabs purse while victim sits in car

A LaGrange robber grabbed a purse from a man's car Monday while he was sitting inside the vehicle, according to a LaGrange Police Department press release.

The man told police that he was sitting in his car at about 3 p.m. when a man reached into his vehicle and grabbed his wife's purse. The suspect then ran and left on a bicycle. No details could be given about the suspect or the bicycle.

The case is under investigation by the LaGrange Criminal Investigations Section. Those with any tips can contact the department at 706-883-2603 or Troup County Crime Stoppers at 706-812-1000.
