Woman on Pecan Street stabs man in back

A woman was arrested early Tuesday morning for stabbing a man on the 2900 block of Pecan Street, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

Rachel Marshall, 20, was charged with aggravated assault after she left an inch long stab wound on the lower back of the victim, who she was living with. Marshall allegedly used an 8-inch knife as her weapon slightly after midnight.

The victim was transported to The Medical Center. Marshall was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
