No surprise: Kelly Clarkson takes the No. 1 spot on Forbes' list of the 10 top-earning American Idols of 2012. Something else that isn't too surprising: Lee DeWyze didn’t make the list.

Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry tied for No. 2.

It's interesting that the top 10 earners aren't just "Idol" winners. In fact, some winners are absent from the list. I'm looking at you, Lee. And Kris Allen. And Taylor Hicks.

Among the non-winners making the list? Jennifer Hudson, Kellie Pickler, Adam Lambert, David Archuleta and Katharine McPhee.
