Wedding season is heating up and brides are looking for that one special dress. Brides who haven't said "yes" to a dress yet, should visit Formal Elegance on Veterans Parkway and check out the shop's fashion show at The Ultimate Bridal Expo on Sunday, Feb. 24, at the RiverMill Event Centre, 3715 First Avenue.

Formal Elegance hosts the fashion show at 4 p.m. and brides, grooms and their families can chat with regional and local wedding vendors from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The first 750 people to attend will receive a free gift bag. Expect free samples, delicious food, doors prizes and more. Tickets cost $3 for brides and $5 for each guest. They can be purchased at the Rivermill Event Centre or at the door.

Formal Elegance, a bridal, prom and formal dress shop was established in 1989. Besides a huge selection of dresses at the store, guests can also order their dream dresses. The shop's knowledgeable staff and spacious fitting room area with a stage and multiple mirrors are sure to meet the needs of brides and bridal parties.

Rachel Woodward and Jill McCabe were models for this special edition of bridal fashion.

Rachel Woodward is a proud full-time mother to Kade Thomas, age 2. She and her husband, Jared have been married for 8 years. Rachel described her wedding dress search as a "fun time to go with girlfriends and family while also being a bit overwhelming." She models a Casablanca ivory strapless gown with a sequin bodice and irregular ruffled skirt and a Maggie Sottero "Mia" gown with a strapless sequin corset and satin skirt

Jill McCabe is a nurse at St.Francis, a part-time exercise instructor and mom to Teagan, age 1. She and her husband, Kevin, have been married for 5 years. She models a Maggie Sottero "Stacey" gown in ivory with a feather sash and a Casablanca gown in white. It's strapless with rose ruffles.
