A man was robbed of $8,400 in cash at the intersection of Eddy Drive and Davis Street Wednesday after two people put a pistol to his head, according to a Columbus Police Department report.
The victim reported that at about 6:45 p.m., two people placed a silver revolver to the back of his head and took $8,400 in $100 bills. The men also took an iPhone4 and a gold chain with a cross. Police estimated the loss at almost $9,000.
In a related report the victim reported that his wallet, containing $20, was also taken.
One suspect was described as a tall black man with dark skin in all black clothing and a black bandana, wearing black and white Converse shoes. The other man was described as a short black man with light skin wearing a similar outfit. Any information about this crime can be reported to the Columbus Police Department.
No arrests were made. No suspects were named.
