Fork's Package Store employee robbed at gunpoint

An employee of Fork's Package Store on Fort Benning Road was robbed at gunpoint Thursday, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

The employee told police that at about 8 p.m., a 6-foot-1-inch black man in his 20s threatened him with a pistol. The man was also described as wearing a dark brown plaid sweater, a dark cap with ear flaps and black leather gloves.

The report did not mention what was taken from the store.

No suspects were named. No arrests were made.
