A man threatened to kill another person with a knife on Eddy Circle Thursday night, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

Maurice Bottorff, 47, was charged with aggravated assault after threatening to kill another man with a knife. Officers reported he left bruises on the throat of the victim.

Bottorff was charged with aggravated assault. He was sent to Muscogee County Jail.

On Wednesday near Eddie Drive a man was robbed of $8,400 in cash while going home. Police are looking for two suspects connected to that armed robbery.
