A small bag containing meth was found early today at the checkout counter of Walmart on Airport Thruway, Columbus police said.

The manager of the 2801 Airport Thruway retail store called police after finding 1.4 grams of the drug on the floor about 3 a.m.

In a report, the manager told police the meth may have fallen out of a woman's pocket while she checked out merchandise at the counter by register No. 14. The store will use its surveillance cameras to try and locate the woman.

The woman was described as white, with dark hair, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 110 pounds. She was wearing a white tank top and blue jeans with a coat.

Police seized the meth as evidence if a suspect is identified.
