National Pancake Day 2013: Get free pancakes at IHOP on Feb. 5

On Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., patrons at area IHOP restaurants could enjoy a free short stack of the restaurant's buttermilk pancakes. In turn, they could make a donation to their local Children's Miracle Network hospital. Proceeds from participating IHOP restaurants in the local area will be donated to Children's Miracle Network at The Medical Center. 02/05/13

Hungry? National Pancake Day is Tuesday, Feb. 5. Visit a local IHOP restaurant between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. to get a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes. During the event, you’re asked to make a donation to a Children's Miracle Network hospital -- locally, it's the Children’s Miracle Network at The Medical Center.

These local IHOP restaurants will participate in National Pancake Day:

*2111 Airport Thruway, Columbus -- Restaurant features a "friendly pancake flipping and stacking contest" at 8 a.m. Scheduled competitors include The Medical Center CEO Ryan Chandler, Columbus Regional Child Life Specialist Meg Johnson, and local businessman and Children’s Miracle Network supporter Scott Ressmeyer.
