A man was charged with aggravated assault and possession of marijuana Monday after he allegedly pointed a load pistol at a man on Farr Road, according to a Columbus Police Department.
Darriess Calhoun, 24, was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. on Farr Road after he pointed a gun at a man near the intersection of Old Cusseta Road and Farr Road. Police found marijuana on Calhoun during a search.
Calhoun was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of marijuana. He was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
