Woman battered during robbery on Second Avenue

A woman was allegedly robbed and beaten up by four men Monday near an automotive shop on Second Avenue, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

The woman told police that while she was on the 2900 block of Second Avenue at about noon, four men beat her up and robbed her. The men left the victim with a bruised and swollen right eye and chest pain.

No suspects were named. The case remains under investigation.
