Sometimes, it works.

Amid all the talk of jealousy, bitterness and betrayal, it's easy to believe healthy relationships don't exist. But occasionally, we find stories that restore our faith in warm, fuzzy feelings.

Photos often reflect those feelings.

Consider the photo that accompanies this article. I received it in an email from Covenant Woods, the Columbus retirement community where Allan and Jean Lewis live. They're the married couple shown in the picture.

They've been married 67 years. Allan was in the Army, then the Coast Guard, serving as a combat medic during World War II. They met at church, dated three years and have five children.
