Woman choked and cut during robbery in parking lot near Meritas Drive

A woman was choked and had her purse snatched Thursday, Feb. 14 during a robbery that took place in an unspecified parking lot near Meritas Drive and 42nd Street, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

Police responded to the area at about 10 p.m. in reference to a woman that was highly upset in the area. The victim told police that an undescribed suspect had choked her in the parking lot and had then snatched her purse. She also had cuts above her left eye and cuts on both her left and right foot.

No further details were available. No arrests were made.
