Woman robbed of more than $1,000; suspect still at large

A woman was robbed of more than $1,000 and injured near 32nd Street and Hamilton Road Sunday, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

Police arrived at St. Francis Hospital at about 10:30 a.m. Monday after receiving reports of a robbery and assault. The 45-year-old victim told police that a woman had robbed her of $1,074 on Sunday at about 6:15 p.m. She transported herself to the hospital for injuries, although no specific injuries were listed in the report.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-10 black woman weighing about 120 pounds with black hair. She was wearing a black hoodie during the incident.

No arrests were made. No further information was available.
