Officers make hydrocodone arrest while investigating assault

A woman was arrested for possession of hydrocodone along with other drugs Tuesday after police responded to reports of assault, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

Amandah McLemore, 25, was arrested at an apartment on the 1300 block of 19th Street while officers were investigating an assault. Police found hydrocodone and alaprozam pills in both her wallet and her purse during a search.

McLemore was arrested and charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possession of Schedule III drugs. She was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
