A 53-year-old Columbus woman was struck in the head Friday with a chair outside her Lawyers Lane apartment, police said.
The woman sustained a 6-inch cut to top of her head in the 6:15 a.m. attack. She was transported by ambulance to The Medical Center where she was in stable condition.
Police charged Pamela Ann Anderson, 40, of Columbus in connection with the assault. She was charged with one count each of terroristic threats, aggravated assault and disorderly conduct and held in the Muscogee County Jail on bonds totaling $15,250.
Police gave motive in the assault.
