Jo-Wilfried Tsonga rebounded from losing the first set to beat top-seeded Tomas Berdych in Sunday's final at the Open 13 tennis event.

The third-seeded Tsonga, who saved one match point, evened the bout in a tiebreak and captured his 10th career title, including a seventh indoors, with a 3-6, 7-6 (8-6), 6-4 victory.

"This is a great victory. I stayed in the match even when it was very difficult and waited for my chance," Tsonga said.

The Frenchman, who was coming off a first-round loss at Rotterdam last week, became the third player to win multiple titles at this tournament, having also won in 2009, and earned a first prize of $125,000.

Berdych, like Tsonga, appeared in his 17th career ATP final, with his record falling to 8-9. The Czech had won the three previous matches against Tsonga.

"I had a few chances, but Jo was able to serve well in the moment," Berdych said.
