Cataula man arrested for possession of marijuana on Gurley Drive

Shaquille Williams, 21, of Cataula, Ga. was arrested Saturday and charged with possession and use of drug related objects and possession of marijuana less than one ounce.

According to a police report, at 2:18 p.m. Saturday, a police officer was dispatched to Gurley Drive in reference to two men sitting in a car smoking marijuana. Upon arriving, the officer noticed a strong of of suspected marijuana.

The two men were asked to exit the car. The officer reported that in the search of the vehicle a small plastic bag containing 0.2 grams of suspected marijuana was found as well as a grinder commonly used to grind marijuana. The officer reported that traces of marijuana were found in the grinder.
