Update: Man shot in leg at mobile home park on Cusseta Road

Update (Monday, 7 a.m.):

A man was transported to The Medical Center Sunday after he was shot in the leg at a barbecue on Cusseta Road, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

Police arrived at the mobile home park on the 2600 block of Cusseta Road at about 2:30 p.m. after receiving reports that a 26-year-old man had been shot in the leg. A family member had already transported him for medical assistance.

Witnesses told police that a man in an all black jumpsuit and a ski mask had shot the victim. Officers were able to recover multiple shell casings in the area, including three .380 caliber shell casings, ten .40 caliber shell casings and one .40 round. There was also a black skull cap found nearby.

No arrests were made. No further information was available.
